In the first half of the 19th century, especially during the first World War era, people with no academic identity tended to explain all the events that happened in the sky and that they couldn't understand as mystical.
On October 9, 1946, during a meteor shower, Adamski and some friends claimed that while they were at the Palomar Gardens campground, they witnessed a large cigar-shaped "mother ship." In early 1947, Adamski took a photograph of what he claimed was the 1946 cigar-shaped "mother ship" crossing in front of the moon over Palomar Gardens. In the summer of 1947, following the first widely publicized UFO sightings in the United States, Adamski claimed that he saw 184 UFOs pass over Palomar Gardens one evening.On November 20, 1952, Adamski and several friends were in the Colorado Desert near the town of Desert Center, California, when they purportedly saw a large submarine-shaped object hovering in the sky. Believing that the ship was looking for him, Adamski is said to have left his friends and to have headed away from the main road. Shortly afterward, according to Adamski's accounts, a scout ship made of a type of translucent metal landed close to him, and its pilot, a Venusian called Orthon, disembarked and sought him out. Adamski claimed that the people with him also saw the Venusian ship, and several of them later stated they could see Adamski meeting someone in the desert, although from a considerable distance.
When you look at it with common sense, some UFO incidents we know take a big blow. There's another strange thing; people who have had an encounter with aliens claim they can walk through walls, suddenly disappear and come back as if they were from another dimension. If this is the case, then it's not about space travel, but it's about interdimensional relationships.
If UFOs are products of another dimension, they don't necessarily have to live in another galaxy to visit us. They don't even have to go beyond time-space. The object appearing in our dimension could be a transition, and it disappearing could make it appear in the other dimension. Another appealing idea is that there may be many other dimensions.
How logical is it to accept that humankind, which has just met civilization and developed communication systems, to be the most intelligent being in the universe? After all, our galaxy, The Milky Way, is nothing but a dust in this endless ocean, and we, as humans, don't even take up a space as big as a dust.
The latest accepted fact about UFOs and aliens is that they exist, but for one reason or another, this is kept as a secret. When the talented director, Steven Spielberg, shot 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind', the best UFO movie of all times, he was constantly asked how the movie could be so realistic. But the most important question was how he could get that much support from the U.S. government. In an interview on MTV, Spielberg just smiled and said ''everything could be real in the movie except the details. Everything was consulted. And if they existed, they could only be like this'.'

One of the most intriguing questions that supporters of the extra-terrestrial interpretation of the UFO phenomenon are forced to grapple with is why, if aliens are visiting our planet, they don't make open contact. Some skeptics seize on this question scornfully as if the lack of any good answer to it proved that the whole UFO phenomenon was bunk, the product of either fraud or fantasy. Ufologists report, however, that there are perfectly good reasons why aliens might want to keep their presence secret.
One speculation is that aliens have some kind of moral code which prevents them from large-scale interference in the affairs of a less advanced civilization. This would resemble the Prime Directive of Star Trek, the rule that forbade Starfleet vessels from altering the natural development trajectory of planets which had not yet attained high-level technology of their own.
The most sinister answer to the question of why aliens don't make open contact is that they are not well-disposed towards us. After all, if your intentions are hostile, why announce your presence? Knowledge of it could only inspire resistance in the target population and complicate the achievement of your goals. But what are those goals? Some UFO researchers believe that aliens are here to harvest human genetic material, possibly for the purpose of creating alien-human hybrids.
