Turkish Indie Game Developed by Youth Debuts on Steam: They Are Looking for Support!
A new Turkish indie game, Cardora, has made its debut on Steam. Developed by a small team of interns at their current company, Cardora is a strategic card game that now has its Steam page live. You can add it to your wishlist and provide financial support to this young team via Kickstarter.
We are going through days where we feel anxious about the future of games in Turkey, yet the local game industry shows no signs of slowing down. With the Turkish game sector reaching a volume of nearly $700 million in 2024, the PC side is on the rise alongside mobile gaming.
Every year, increasingly ambitious local indie games successfully represent Turkey on a global scale. Now, there is a brand-new player in this arena…
Meet the fresh interns of the local game team, Nightbadgers Studio:

The conditions that brought this small team of 9-10 people together actually formed at Nightbadgers Studio, which primarily focuses on mobile games. The studio did not turn down the request of their interns, who were tired of mobile games and wanted to produce something for the PC side, and thus a complete passion project began. Our young friends, working day and night, are finally ready to release their first truly independent production after a long period of development!
Here is the first game from these young talents: Cardora!
You can support this young team in this first big step of their careers via Kickstarter. Even a single dollar means a great deal to them:

The team has set a one-month campaign period with an initial goal of reaching $35,000 in financial support. This will guarantee that they can promote their game to more people worldwide, reach more players on Steam, and continue this project with passion despite all conditions.
If you liked Cardora, supporting these young developers is very simple. You can go to the Kickstarter page, click the “Back this project” button, and contribute small amounts like $1 or $3-5, which may be minor for you but are very meaningful for the team. The rest will be in their hands.
There is also a way to support them for free. You can add Cardora to your wishlist on Steam:
Accessing Cardora’s Steam page and adding it to your wishlist is as valuable as financial support, and you will be lighting a flame of hope for these young people who are trying to create value under all circumstances. As the Webtekno team, we have done our part; now it’s your turn :)
About Cardora: Cardora is designed for players who love classic card games but want "something different."

Every game features new chaos, new tactics, and a new story. As a thematic card game based on the Grim Poker system, where you try to achieve the highest synergy with the combinations you create at the end of the game, Cardora draws attention with its atmosphere, featuring both multiplayer and roguelite-style single-player modes.
It is a ruthless and familiar poker game played at the tables of nobles. Players bluff with cards and make moves for the regions of the kingdom. The rules are familiar; the intentions are dark. Because in Cardora, the winner is not just the one with the strong hand, but the one who knows the opponent's weakness and manipulates it.
In Cardora, players don't just build good combinations; they can also disrupt their opponents' plans with active cards and change the course of the game with instant moves. Passive talent cards, on the other hand, strengthen your strategy and keep you one step ahead.
Cardora was designed not as a standalone card game, but as a living anthology.

Atmospherically, Cardora takes place in a slightly dark Medieval world. With its art style and themes inspired by the Black Death era, it adds a darker, more mischievous, and unique vibe to classic card games. Each game mode approaches this historical theme from a different angle.
One of the most striking aspects of the game is the dynamic conditions system. At the beginning of each cycle, a new event enters the game, bringing special rules that affect all players during that turn. When the cycle ends, the event changes and is replaced by a completely different rule. The result? No two matches are the same, and players rebuild their strategies every single time.
