Don’t Miss Out On The Series Premiere of ‘Week-end Family’ on Disney+

Disney+ is adding a new French comedy TV series to its back catalogue for children and teenagers to enjoy. Week-end Family will debut on Wednesday, March 9, in the U.S., U.K. and other countries. However, viewers in France, Australia, Benelux, Scandinavia, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Spain, Taiwan and Portugal already got a head start since the show premiered in those countries on February 23 2022.

Produced by Elephant International for the Walt Disney Company, Week-end Family chronicles the life of a new stepfamily that gets together every weekend. However, when the dad finds a new life love interest, their weekend meet-ups face some turmoil. Watch the trailer video below:

Meet Fred, the father of a diverse family. He has three daughters, Clara (15 years), Victoire (12 years) and Romy (9 years), with three different women, for whom he only gets custody on weekends. His former loves, Helena, Laurence and Marie-Ange all had solid reasons to leave him. However, they are always within reach, and so is Fred's best friend, Stan.

A new phase dawns on the large family when Fred falls in love with Emmanuelle, a Québécois woman pursuing her doctorate in child psychology in Paris. Her best friend, Cora may not always give the best advice and so, Emmanuelle has to take a break from her studies to be part of the weekend family get-togethers and get along with Fred’s children and exes

Rounding up the cast crew is Éric Judor as Fred, Daphnée Côté Hallé as Emmanuelle “Emma”, Hafid F. Benamar as Stan, Séphora Pondi as Cora, Liona Bordonaro as Clara, Midie Dreyfus as Victoire “Vic”, Roxane Barrazuol as Romy, Annalise Hesme as Laurence, Annabel Lopez as Helena and Jeanne Bournaud as Marie-Ange.
