Amazing World Travelers: The Mother and Her 6-Year-Old Daughter!

After Evie Farrell's good friend died of cancer at the age of 42, she noticed how short life is. So, she quit her corporate job, took her savings of $30,000 that she was planning to use on renovating her kitchen and started to travel around the world! Here is a story that inspired us when we saw it on BoredPanda.

This all started with her best friend dying of cancer...

“She was a wonderful and loving woman with two children. Her death reminded me how we have to truly start living while we still have the change."

The 43-year-old Australian human resources manager took her 5-year-old daughter with her and took off.

All the money she had was the $30,000 she had saved up earlier.

With that, she entered into an endless adventure with her daughter.

This journey started in February of 2016.

"There is more to life than making money to buy stuff."

"Now we have been backpacking around for a year."

"...and I have no plans of going back to my old life!"

You can follow their journey on Instagram, where the traveling duo has almost 50k followers in the past eleven months they’ve visited thirteen countries.

These include Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the UK, France, and China.

Do you find this inspiring?

Evie says, "What would my daughter be thankful for in 10 years from now?"

"Getting a new kitchen and a bathroom for our house?"

"I don't think so. She would be thankful for filling her early years with amazing experiences, sounds, and smells."

"This year I learned that if you want something really bad, you can make it happen."

As she said, they don't plan to stop any time soon!

Little Emmie seems happy to experience the many cultures and amazing nature instead of drowning in technology.
