We combined the Forbes’ lists of The World’s Highest-Paid Actors and  The World’s Highest-Paid Actresses, where they ranked 2016’s top earners in the film industry; but our list includes only Hollywood stars. Let’s see who got the biggest paycheck this year!

20. Harrison Ford - $15 million

19. Charlize Theron - $16.5 million

Reportedly banked $10 million for her role in Mad Max; Charlize Theron boosted her millions with her supporting role in The Huntsman: Winter’s War and by being the face of Dior J’Adore perfume.

18. Matthew McConaughey - $18 million

Matthew McConaughey is now preparing himself for his future roles in 2017’s Stephen King adaptation The Dark Tower and Lincoln Motors advertisements.

17. Will Smith - $20.5 million

Will Smith managed to get on the list with his role in Suicide Squad with a $20 million paycheck.

16. Jennifer Aniston - $21 million

Adding several little budgeted ($7-8 million) movies and endorsements she made throughout the year, Jennifer Aniston’s annual paycheck equals to $21 million.

15. Scarlett Johansson - $25 million

Scarlett Johansson reportedly made $17.5 million from the movie Ghost in the Shell. The rest of her earnings came from her endorsement with Dolce & Gabbana.

14. Chris Pratt - $26 million

We’ll be watching Chris Pratt in the movie Passengers and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 within the next months, movies that formed the biggest part of his $26 million paycheck.

13. Leonardo DiCaprio - $27 million

After being nominated for many times, Leonardo DiCaprio finally won his very first Oscar for The Revenant. The millions he made from this movie and his off-the-screen works as a producer helped him to make $27 million this year.

12. Mark Wahlberg - $30 million

Mark Wahlberg earned big bucks from Daddy's Home and  Deepwater Horizon this year.

11. Adam Sandler - $30 million

This year Adam Sandler signed on to make 3 or 4 Sandy Wexler movies only for Netflix, which comprised the biggest amount of his $30 million paycheck.

10. Brad Pitt - $31.5 million

Brad Pitt, who produced and acted in The Big Short made the biggest of his earnings from this movie. Pitt's latest movie Allied is now in theaters.

9. Melissa McCarthy - $33 million

It has been announced that Melissa McCarthy received a $9 million upfront fee to star in Ghostbusters 3. Adding the remaining paycheck and bucks that she earned from her own clothing line, her earnings hit $33 million this year.

8. Robert Downey Jr. - $33 million

Being one of the highest earning actors last year as well; Robert Downey Jr. made his biggest earnings from the movie Captain America: Civil War and his endorsements for the smart phone producer HTC this year.

7. Vin Diesel - $35 million

The upfront fees of the movies like Fast and Furious 8 and Guardians of The Galaxy created the biggest part of Vin Diesel’s $35 million paycheck this year.

6. Ben Affleck - $43 million

Ben Affleck, who makes big bucks from the movies he produces, directs and plays in, the biggest part of his millions came from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which grossed  $870 million worldwide.

5. Jennifer Lawrence - $46 million

Being the youngest among the highest-earning actors and actresses, Jennifer Lawrence made the biggest amount of her income from the final Hunger Games with a $653 million box office gross. Other movies that made her earn big bucks are the X-Men: Apocalypse and Joy, which brought her an Oscar nomination.

4. Johnny Depp - $48 million

Having a really busy season, Johnny Depp received $8 million each from the upfront payments for the movies Alice Through the Looking Glass and Pirates of the Caribbean that will be in theaters in 2017.

3. Tom Cruise - $53 million

Adding the paychecks from 2015's Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and Jack Reacher and upfront fees for The Mummy and American Made; Tom Cruise’s paycheck equals to $53 million this year.

2. Matt Damon - $55 million

The millions he earned from Martian, producing and acting in the Jason Bourne movie and upfront fees for The Great Wall are enough to explain why Matt Damon is almost at the top of the list.

1. Dwayne Johnson - $64 million

Everyone is surprised about this result, I know. Being the most wanted actor of 2015 and 2016, Johnson made a lot of money by being a producer and an actor at the same time. Upfront fees of the big movies he’ll be playing in also explains his earnings of $64 million.
