This Artist Spends Up To 250 Hours Hand-Carving These Pipes Inspired By Movie Characters!

Sidrit Vaqari has been sculpting and making pipes for 18 years now. He says every epic character inspired him to carve this kind of pipes but Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit are his favorites, and Gandalf is his inspiration!

1. It took him about 250 hours to finish this epic character smoking pipe.

2. It’s made from a block of briar wood which is 50 years old.

3. It is a very strong wood… "The older, the stronger," he says.

4. So he turned it into a Smaug pipe and he used only knives to carve this wood.

5. After a month of work, the pipe was almost completed

6. "It was a really difficult character!" he says.

7. Finally completed, he added a black arrow for tamper to put tobacco into the pipe.

8. Some of his other pipe designs (Gimli son of Gloin in progress).

9. Gandalf pipe.

10. Davy Jones pipe design.

11. Darth Maul and Gimli son of Gloin.
