Could Astrology Explain the Dark Fate of England's Most Notorious Serial Killers?
Could astrology be linked to some of history's most chilling serial killers? England is home to some of the most notorious figures in criminal history, including Harold Shipman, Ian Brady, and Jeremy Bamber—three killers who terrorized the nation. But there’s an eerie twist to their shared dark legacy: they were all born under the same star sign—Capricorn! Is it just a coincidence, or does being born under this sign play a role in their chilling fate? Let’s dive deep into the lives of these notorious killers and explore the possible astrological connection behind their terrifying actions.
Let's start with Harold Shipman.

One of the most notorious serial killers in England, Shipman was born on January 14, 1946. So, as you can guess, he was a Capricorn. Known as 'Dr. Death,' the former general practitioner is believed to have selected elderly and female patients to kill. He worked as a doctor starting in 1977 and was one of the most popular doctors of his time.
However, in 2000, he was found guilty of 15 murders and sentenced to life imprisonment. A few years later, he took his own life in Wakefield Prison. He also reportedly recorded the deaths of his patients, whom he murdered via injection, as 'natural deaths.'
Ian Brady was also a Capricorn.

He was imprisoned in 1966 for murdering three children and later confessed to killing two more individuals. Brady and his partner, Myra Hindley, kidnapped five children between 1963 and 1965. The children Brady murdered were buried in Saddleworth Moor. However, the exact location of the body of 12-year-old Keith, whom he confessed to killing, was never fully disclosed.
Brady died in 2017 in a psychiatric unit in Merseyside.
Another notorious Capricorn killer is Jeremy Bamber.

Bamber, who murdered five members of his adoptive family, was sentenced to life in prison in 1986. After being convicted for the Essex murders in 1985, the victims included his adoptive parents, his twin siblings, and his step-sister. In court, Bamber admitted that the main reason he committed the murders was to inherit a large fortune.
Currently, at the age of 64, he is serving his sentence in Wakefield HM Prison.
