If you played old-school games or owned a console from the 2000s, then chances are you are feeling quite nostalgic about the good old days. There’s just something different about those titles that no matter how much graphic fidelity and interaction modern games offer, it just can’t hit the spot. That’s why we are so interested in Anuchard as it combines the past and the present with its retro-inspired gameplay.

Anuchard - Gameplay Trailer
Anuchard is heavily inspired by classic Playstation games especially the Legend of Mana and also the original Zelda games. We can also see some town-building mechanics as well as new ones which StellarNull craftily incorporated. If you want something old-school with fresh new mechanics added into the mix, this would fit in your library.
The game begins at a devastated Orchard village facing a strange phenomenon. One by one the villagers are petrified and turned into stone. Those who have not fallen to this mysterious spell have gathered to fulfill a legendary prophecy about a saviour known as the Bellwielder.
The player will take the legendary hero’s role and set off on a glorious mission to save the village from doom. The dialogues, mechanics, artworks, and graphics are all inspired by old-school games. Check out their trailer video to get a glimpse of the actual gameplay.
