Speedrunner beats Elden Ring in under 13 minutes
Just a few weeks ago, Hazeblade was crowned the king of speedrunning after completing Elden Ring in under 25 minutes. Nobody expected anyone to beat the insane record that Hazeblade has put out since it was such an amazing feat. That is, until recently, a certain someone had done the impossible.
Twitch streamer Mitchriz has the speedrunning community in shock as he beats the game in an unbelievable 12 minutes. Yes, you read that right, 12 whole minutes. That’s actually how long it takes someone to customize their own character! Also, Mitchriz had a whole arsenal of glitches and strategies he utilized to his advantage, including the Zip method, which speedrunners Distortion2 and Hazeblade also used in completing their speedruns. Mitchriz beat the game in exactly 12:32 minutes. According to him, this was a “world’s first”.
WORLD FIRST Sub 13 Elden Ring (Any% Unrestricted Speedrun in 12:32 World Record)
Elden Ring has been available for nearly a full month, and we can all agree that more speedrunning records will be broken in the near future. If players have prior experience with Soulsborne games, the game's standard completion time would be around 50 hours while non-experienced players could take over a hundred hours to complete it.
Check out this other incredible feat accomplished by a streamer. Seki, a Twitch streamer, finished Elden Ring without taking any damage. That's right, he finished the game without taking any damage from the environment or enemies. This feat is nearly impossible to complete because you can't take even the slightest amount of damage.
