Saweetie Announces Possibility of Two New Albums For 2022
Female hip hop star Saweetie is due to release two new albums before the year is out, according to a new interview.
The Cali born rapper recently spoke to 'Rolling Stone Magazine' for an interview and revealed that she would be releasing two new projects before the conclusion of 2022.
The albums will be titled 'The Single Life,' and 'Pretty B*tch Music,' which had already been teased by the rapper to her fans.
'The Single Life' is the artist's 'reflection on life' since her split with Migos' Quavo last year, according to Saweetie.
“I’m excited to share what I went through,” Saweetie told the magazine.
“I think as I was making it, I was more proud to be single,' she revealed, 'Because I realized that I was growing, I realized that I was elevating. And I realized that I was becoming a better woman.”
“It was definitely revolutionary. It was heartbreaking. It was honest. It was a reflection. It’s just me being Saweetie in full transparency.”
Of the 'Pretty B*tch Music,' project, the rapper joked that, “she’s still in the womb, I haven’t popped her out.”
“I want to thank my fans for patiently waiting. It’s been a year. It’s been a while. I’ve been recording officially for a year, non-stop,” she added.
However, the artist did not reveal any set release dates for the albums.

What ever project is released first would be the rapper's first studio album of her career.
Previously, Saweetie has released three extended-plays; 'High Maintenance,' in 2018, 'Icy' in 2019 and 'Pretty Summer Playlist,' in 2021.
Despite the fact that she hasn't made any big releases as of yet, the West Coast star has gone platinum with a number of singles from the projects named above.
She achieved platinum sales with 'Icy Girl,' in 2017 as well as 'My Type' in 2019.
'Tap In' of 2020 and 'Best Friend,' featuring Doja Cat, in 2021 also achieved the feat.
