Netflix Reveals the Trailer and Release Date for Documentary Film ‘Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich’

Netflix is back with more of its Filthy Rich collection two years after the first project, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich. In May 2020, the streamer released the documentary series as the first project for the Filthy Rich collection, showcasing a case against Jeffrey Epstein. He was charged with sex trafficking and procuring children for prostitution in 2008.

Jeffrey Epstein initially served thirteen months in jail before he was re-arrested for sex trafficking in 2019. He committed suicide by hanging during his second jail term, leaving his longtime partner and ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was also arrested for similar crimes. Ghislaine was sentenced to 20 years in jail, triggering the collection creators to produce the second project of Filthy Rich.

The upcoming Netflix documentary film will see the filmmakers from Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich examine how Ghislaine Maxwell managed to hide her true identity from the public for so long. 

Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich also explores Ghislaine's relationship with Epstein and the public and the trial which led to her imprisonment.

Yes. Netflix uploaded the official trailer three weeks ago to provide more storylines for Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich. In 1 minute and 35 seconds, the trailer kicks off with Epstein and Ghislaine's images, as the narrator reveals that not only men can be predators. 

The trailer proceeds with a flashback from various survivors of Epstein and Ghislaine's evil deeds. Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich discovers the monster, Ghislaine, behind the monster, Epstein, who helped her husband with sex trafficking and child prostitution.

Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich is the second project from Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich directors Joe Berlinger, Maiken Baird, and Lisa Bryant. 

The trio also serves as the chief producers alongside Jon Doran, Lori G-Logan, Alison Bengtson, Tiffany Do, Jen Isaacson, and Leopoldo Gout.

The main characters of Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich include voices of Salli Saffioti as Carol, Elenna Stauffer as Kate, Elena Melener as Jane, Maiken Baird as Bobbi Sternheim, Ellen Harvey as Laura Menninger, and Vanessa Lemonides as Lara Pomerantz. 

The film also entails archive footage of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.

Ghislaine Maxwell: Filthy Rich launches on Friday, November 25th, running for 1 hour and 41 minutes on Netflix.
