For those unfamiliar, "Gladiator 2" is the sequel to the film "Gladiator."
The story of 'Gladiator 2' takes place 20 years after the events of the original film and follows the grown-up Lucius as he inherits Maximus's legacy. Lucius, the son of Lucilla (Nielsen), witnessed Maximus's story firsthand in Gladiator. Instead of claiming his birthright as Caesar, he is inspired by Maximus's sacrifice and courage, vowing to continue his legacy. 'Gladiator 2' will likely depict Lucius, now an adult, fighting in the arena during a turbulent period when his political connections cause unrest.
The film's cast is reason enough to excite fans eagerly awaiting its release.
In the movie, Paul Mescal takes on the role of Lucius Verus, previously played by Spencer Treat Clark in the original film. Director Ridley Scott mentions that Lucius has lived in the wilderness for the past 15 years, disconnected from his mother. Denzel Washington will portray a character who is a slave-born, wealthy, arms, and goods trader. Connie Nielsen returns as Lucius's mother, Lucilla, and Derek Jacobi appears as Senator Gracchus, a member of the Roman Senate.

The grey cloak he wears clearly indicates a historical period, and its pristine condition may suggest Pascal's character in 'Gladiator 2' belongs to the upper class. Under the cloak, not much can be seen to determine his role in the story, except for a glimpse of a white shirt.
The speculation increased with the scar under Pascal's character's right eye.
Despite the photo's low quality, a scar under Pascal's character's right eye is visible. This may hint at his character having a past as a warrior or perhaps the result of a violent encounter with Lucius Verus (Paul Mescal).
