The couple met at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and parted ways in 1995. In 1995, Elon Musk started dating his first wife, Justine Wilson, and decided to move to California for his career.
In 2022, Gwynne auctioned off these photos of her and Elon Musk, stating that she wanted to fund her stepson's college education.

The auction held in 2022 included not only the photos but also a birthday card written by Elon Musk, a gold and diamond necklace. These precious memories from Musk’s first girlfriend fetched a total of $165,000!
It is said that this sweet photo of the couple was taken by Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk.
