The iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, a symbol of Rio de Janeiro, reaches a towering height of approximately 38 meters atop Corcovado Hill. While some visitors lay flat on their backs, holding their phones aloft, others exerted considerable effort to fit into the same frame with the statue. The result was a series of shots where the exertion involved became the main topic of conversation, rather than the photos themselves.

Seagulls are birds that we encounter nearly everywhere humans inhabit, from coastal strips to city centers, from ports to sports facilities. They prefer to move in flocks and closely monitor each other's behaviors. Silver gulls, particularly common in coastal cities in Australia, are no strangers to crowded areas such as illuminated courts and open-air facilities. Therefore, it's not unusual to see these birds soaring above playing fields, however, it's not often that a flying seagull collides with a ball hit by a player. This exact possibility was brought to life during a tennis match in Australia. In footage captured under night lighting, one can see a seagull gliding over the court colliding with a ball and suddenly falling to the ground. The other gulls quickly gather around the fallen bird, their inseparable response both worrying and frightening the spectators.

In times when photography was not yet widespread, people developed quite creative methods using paper to visualize distant cities and monumental structures. These works, known as 'tunnel books' or 'peepshows', consist of layers of paper placed one after the other and folded like bellows on the sides. When looked through a small hole in the cover, they create a powerful illusion of depth. Naturally, even after centuries, they manage to astonish the viewer the moment the cover is opened and looked into.Images showcasing a tunnel book from the 1830s vividly depict the world that emerges from between the layers of paper when the cover is opened. As monumental arches, a passage entwined with green leaves, and male and female figures wandering in this scenery sequentially appear, it was observed that when looked through the small hole in the cover, all these layers merge into a single scene, transforming into a miniature world that fits into the palm of a hand and feels as deep as reality. The images left viewers in awe.
