5 Most Affectionate Zodiac Signs: Did your special someone’s sign make the lovey-dovey list?
We are here, reading this article, for a reason and that is because we are one of those people who believe that zodiac signs justify why we are like this. But do not fret: we are not alone. There are millions of us in this universe that strongly believe that astrology affects our life, not only how we live ours but how we actually live in connection to the people we love.
Knowing our own zodiac sign and the zodiac sign of the person we love might just be the key in figuring them out. This could benefit the way that we show our affection or maybe we could somehow calculate how much or how little affection we could receive from our special other, especially if our love language demands for a specific kind of affection.
To make sure that we stay on the right track to find the affectionate one that we need, let us figure which zodiac signs are the most affectionate.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Just like how bulls strike with their horns, Tauruses will strike their special other head on with their affection. This sign is known to be sensual and they value physical touch more than any other in a relationship. They do not give a second thought about holding their SO’s hand, kissing them in public, or being physically close to them. At times, they also show that their SO is their SO by keeping an arm around you or putting their palm on the back of their SO.
In return, Tauruses also love to receive physical affection so make sure to return the energy that they give by being sensual to them as well.
Be warned, though. While Tauruses will shower their SO with touch, they cannot always expect them to be vocal of their feelings. Tauruses avoid small talk and do not effectively express their emotions.
Capricorn (December 21 to January 20)
Capricorns are affectionate but not in the way that some prefer. They show their affection in private more than that in public. PDA is quite a no-no for them but when it comes to some alone time, you can surely count on their affection. Do not confuse this, though, with having physical touch as their main love language.
Capricorns show their love more through acts of service. They keep their heads held high when it comes to love but they still show their affection by somewhat being a slave for your love. So if you are someone who values acts of service as a form of showing love, then Capricorns might be the ones for you.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Contrary to the popular myth that Cancers are cancers when it comes to relationships, people with the Cancer sign are actually some of the most affectionate ones. They love it when they know how and when they could show their affection to the people they love. Cancers are known to be intuitive and they can easily sense when they should come into the picture.
However, Cancers usually show affection through physical touch and not through words of affirmation. Sometimes, they use words to show their love for a person but they often rely on touch like holding hands, kissing in public, or maybe just snuggling or cuddling on the couch.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are all-around-lovers. If they are compared to other signs who only show their affection through one or two ways, Virgos know how to adjust to their partner’s love language. If you are needing a pick-me-up, expect that they are ready to send you an encouraging text in a jiffy. They show their love by showing up at times they are needed the most. They will not coddle you but they will surely give you that bit of tough love when you are going astray.
Virgos tend to think that “it is the thought that counts.” Quite cliche but they know how to be there even when they are not there.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
People whose sign is a Libra will not last a day without being lovey-dovey. They are one of the most affectionate signs. They show their affection through a lot of physical touch. They will not hesitate to hold your hand, hug you, or kiss you in public. They are quite the hopeless romantic so expect that they will most likely have an idea of what and how love should look like.
Libras know how to keep romance alive even without physical touch. If they cannot be without their SO for the day, they still make an effort to try and call or chat with them just to make up for the lost time in showing their affection.
Now, be warned. Signs do not fully define or set a person to be affectionate or not. The best thing to do to know whether your special other is affectionate or not is to observe their actions when they are with you.
