1. Berlin Syndrome

Clare (Teresa Palmer), a young Australian tourist, is backpacking around Germany, taking photographs of architecture and exploring shops. In Berlin, she meets a local man named Andi (Max Riemelt) and has a one-night stand with him. The next morning, however, she finds that he has locked her in his apartment. Soon, however, Clare realizes Andi has no intention of ever letting her go.

2. Grave

Lifelong vegetarian Justine begins her first semester at veterinary school, the same one her older sister is currently attending and where her parents met. Alexia (sister) shows Justine old class photos of students bathed in blood, including one with their parents. The next morning, the new class is splattered with blood during their class photo and then are lined up and forced to eat raw rabbit's kidneys. Justine refuses, saying she is a vegetarian. However Alexia denies she's a vegetarian and after Justine watches Alexia eat a kidney, she reluctantly eats one as well.

3. 1922

In 1922, Wilf is a farmer living in Hemingford Home, Nebraska with his wife, Arlette (Molly Parker) and their 14-year-old son Henry (Dylan Schmid). Wilf and Arlette have been arguing over whether to sell land Arlette recently inherited. Arlette wants to sell out completely and move to Omaha to open up a dress shop. They discuss divorce, and Arlette is adamant that Henry will be coming with her. Wilf decides to convince Henry to help him murder his mother to prevent him from being taken away, holding Henry's love interest Shannon (Kaitlyn Bernard) at stake. Henry reluctantly agrees to assist his father in carrying out the murder.

4. Gerald's Game

Gerald and Jessie Burlingame arrive at an isolated lake house in Fairhope, Alabama, for a romantic weekend away, in an attempt to save their strained marriage and rekindle their sex life. Gerald suggests that he handcuff Jessie and she agrees. He restrains Jessie with one handcuff on each wrist locked to the bedposts and begins to get rough with her, telling her to scream for help. She plays along at first but soon becomes uncomfortable with his violent fantasy, so she tells him to stop and uncuff her, to which he replies, 'What if I won't?'. Gerald suffers a heart attack and dies. His body falls off the bed, leaving Jessie locked in the handcuffs. Panicked, she begins to call for help but knows nobody will hear her.

5. Alien: Covenant

In a prologue, business magnate Peter Weyland speaks with his newly activated android, who chooses the name 'David' after observing a replica of Michelangelo's statue of David. Weyland tells David that one day they will search for mankind's creator together. David comments on his own unlimited lifespan compared to his creator's limited one, which unsettles his creator.

6. Better Watch Out

At Christmastime, 17-year-old Ashley (Olivia DeJonge) is busy babysitting precocious 12-year-old Luke Lerner (Levi Miller). Luke has romantic feelings for Ashley and attempts unsuccessfully to seduce her while watching a horror movie. Strange happenings outside put Ashley on edge, but it ultimately appears to be just Luke's best friend, Garrett (Ed Oxenbould) who has stopped by to hang out. Hearing a window break upstairs, the trio find a brick inscribed with 'U leave and U die.' Garrett panics and runs out the back door, but is apparently killed by an unknown shooter.

7. Jigsaw

Criminal Edgar Munsen is pursued by the police onto a rooftop, where he activates a triggering mechanism before being shot non-fatally by Police Detective Halloran and his fellow officers. Five people are held captive in a barn, each with a metal noose around their neck. A tape recording from John Kramer explains they must give a sacrifice of blood and will need to confess their sins. The chains begin pulling them towards a wall of buzzsaws. Four manage to survive by cutting themselves on the blades as an offering of blood, but one man who was unconscious during the majority of the game appears to die.

8. Happy Death Day

Theresa 'Tree' Gelbman wakes up on her birthday on Monday, September 18, 2017 in the dorm room of classmate Carter Davis after a drunken binge the previous evening. Tree goes through the day being self-centered, dismissive, and condescending to her classmates and previous hook-ups, ignoring her father's invitation to a restaurant, throwing away a birthday cupcake given to her by her roommate Lori Spengler, and having an affair with Dr. Gregory Butler, her professor. That night, while going to a party, Tree is lured into a tunnel where she is brutally murdered by a hooded figure wearing a mask of the campus mascot.

9. Annabelle: Creation

Despite having been told not to enter Bee's locked bedroom, Janice, a young orphan crippled by polio, is awakened by a noise, discovers a note saying 'find me', and sneaks into the room, which has mysteriously become unlocked. She finds a key for Bee's closet and unlocks it, where she sees an eerie porcelain doll. This unwittingly releases a powerful demon, who begins to terrorize the girls, displaying a special interest in Janice.

10. Life

The unmanned Pilgrim 7 space probe is returning from Mars to the Earth with a soil sample that might contain evidence of extraterrestrial life, when it enters an asteroid field and is severely damaged. The six-member ISS crew captures the spacecraft and exobiologist Hugh Derry revives a dormant cell from the sample; it quickly grows into a multi-celled organism that American school children name 'Calvin'. He realizes that the cells can change their specialisation - like muscle, sensor, neuron - during their life span, other than in earth-bound organisms.

11. Mother!

Imdb 6,7In a large house recently burned by fire, Him, an acclaimed poet struggling with writer's block, places a crystal object on a pedestal in his study. The ruined house morphs into a lovely home in an edenic landscape. In bed, Mother, the poet's wife and muse, awakens from a fiery nightmare and wonders aloud where Him is. While renovating the house, she starts seeing things that unsettle her, including visualizing a beating heart within its walls.

12. The Killing of a Sacred Deer

Imdb 7,1Steven Murphy, a skilled cardiothoracic surgeon, finishes an open heart surgery, and later goes to a diner where he meets a teenage boy named Martin. The precise nature of their relationship is unexplained. Afterward, Steven returns home to his wife, Anna, and their children, Kim and Bob. The next day, Steven reveals his connection to Martin, claiming he is a schoolmate of Kim's, when Martin unexpectedly comes to speak with Steven at the hospital. Steven later privately tells Anna that Martin's father died in a car accident ten years earlier, and that he has taken an interest in the boy to help him grieve. At Steven's suggestion, Martin comes to the Murphy household for dinner; Kim seems particularly taken with him.

13. Split

While hanging out with her classmates Claire and Marcia, the three are kidnapped by Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder. Kevin has been evaluated by psychologist Dr. Karen Fletcher, who discovered that he formed multiple personalities as a means to cope with the abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother. While Kevin appears otherwise stable, Dr. Fletcher has identified 23 distinct personalities within Kevin; in his mind, these personalities sit in chairs in a room, waiting for their turn 'in the light' (controlling Kevin's body) as directed by 'Barry', the dominant personality.

Black photographer Chris Washington reluctantly agrees to meet the family of his white girlfriend Rose Armitage. During their drive to the family's countryside estate, they hit a deer and report the incident. The white policeman asks for Chris's identification even though he was not driving, but Rose intervenes and the encounter goes unrecorded. At the house, Rose's parents, neurosurgeon Dean and hypnotherapist Missy, and her brother Jeremy make discomfiting comments about black people. Chris witnesses strange behavior from the estate's black workers, housekeeper Georgina and groundskeeper Walter.

15. It

Imdb 7,5In October 1988, Bill Denbrough gives his seven-year-old brother, Georgie, a paper sailboat. Georgie sails the boat along the rainy streets of small town Derry, and is disappointed when it falls down a storm drain. As he attempts to retrieve it, Georgie sees a clown in the sewer, who introduces himself as 'Pennywise the Dancing Clown'. The clown entices Georgie to come closer, then severs his arm and drags him into the sewer.
