With Shazam’s latest update, songs you identify will now automatically sync with Spotify and Apple Music. No extra steps, no manual work—just instant music integration. Originally launched in 2002, Shazam has been a pre-installed feature on Apple devices since 2018.

Users could previously identify a song by tapping the Shazam icon, letting the app listen for a few seconds, and retrieving the track's name.

From now on, users can add identified songs directly to their Spotify and Apple Music playlists without opening the app—eliminating the need for manual additions.

Shazam explained'To re-sync all the songs you previously found in the Shazam app, simply toggle the 'Sync Your Songs' option on and off in Shazam settings.'

Now, music you identify using Control Center, Siri, or the Music Recognition tool in Shortcuts will automatically play from your 'My Shazam Tracks' playlist on Apple Music or Spotify.
