Sandra Bullock Returns In ‘Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous’ – Heading To Netflix This July

Sandra Bullock reprises her role as an FBI undercover agent in the 2005 hit movie ‘Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous.'

‘Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous’ is a 2005 American comedy film directed by John Pasquin, written and produced by Marc Lawrence, and released by Warner Bros. It is the sequel to the 2000 film Miss Congeniality.

Gracie Hart's (Sandra Bullock) covert F.B.I. agent career is finished due to the fame she acquired through winning the Miss United States. Additionally, Benjamin Bratt's character, Agent Eric Matthews, ended their romance. Gracie reluctantly chooses to take her boss Harry McDonald's (Ernie Hudson) suggestion and join the F.B.I. as the media-relations officer. 

The new Gracie is the complete opposite of Agent Sam Fuller (Regina King), a woman who, like Gracie before her pageant experience, has deep-seated anger issues. Ten months later, with the help of style coach Joel Meyers (Diedrich Bader) and a best-selling book about her experience behind her, Gracie becomes a designer-clad media darling and the made-up face of the F.B.I. The new Gracie is the antithesis of Agent Sam Despite their lack of compatibility, McDonald still chooses Sam to serve as Gracie's bodyguard.

When Cheryl Frasier, the current Miss United States (Heather Burns), and Stan Fields, the long-time Miss United States pageant host, are abducted in Las Vegas, Nevada, the two are sent there. Assistant Director Walter Collins (Treat Williams) of the F.B.I. 's Las Vegas field office wants Gracie to be the only media representative on the investigation, but Gracie wants to be back in the field, particularly after she uncovers several leads that Collins ignores.

Gracie and Sam must cooperate despite their acrimonious relationship in order to pursue these leads. Joel and insecure F.B.I. Agent Jeff Foreman (Enrique Murciano) is with them. The foursome must also avoid Collins' other Agents since Collins wants Gracie and Sam back on a flight to New York City and wants the credit for solving the case for himself.
