Overwatch 2's Newest Hero Sojourn has Finally Arrived

While fans await the release of Overwatch 2's closed beta on April 26, the game's development team would like to introduce Sojourn, the game's newest hero addition. She is the game's 33rd hero, as well as the first character to be released after a two-year wait. See her in action below.
Sojourn Gameplay Trailer | Overwatch 2
Sojourn is a damage-type hero who excels at mid-range combat. She wields a long railgun with two different firing modes. Her primary firing mode fires energy projectiles that do a lot of damage, while her secondary firing mode uses stored energy to create a powerful blast. She also possesses an ability that deals AoE damage that also slows enemies.
“Like if we’re not dealing enough damage, switch to Sojourn and she starts to finish people off. If healers are too protected, switch to Sojourn and she’ll deal with them. There’s a bit of flexibility in her.” Art Director Dion Rogers said.
Sojourn also has the Power Slide ability, which she can use in conjunction with her high jumping to create combos. Her ultimate is called Overclock, and it boosts her second firing mode by restoring all of her energy. Her shots will be able to pierce through enemies while Overclock is active, making it a very dangerous ability. Of course, because of her abilities, you'll need good aim and precision to make the most of her.
Sojourn will be playable in the Overwatch 2 closed beta, which begins on April 26. The competitive modes in Overwatch 2 will now feature 5-man teams rather than the original 6-man teams.
