Nigerian Wig Maker Sets Guinness World Record for The Widest Wig Ever
Guinness World Records continues to amaze with a variety of fascinating feats. After previously entering the record books for creating the world's longest wig, a woman has now crafted the widest wig ever seen, earning another remarkable title.
Guinness World Records houses a plethora of intriguing records from around the globe, from the tallest person to the shortest.
However, it also holds some bizarre records you might not have heard of.
Nigerian wig maker Helen Williams made headlines in recent years for creating the longest wig, earning her a spot in the Guinness World Records.
But beyond that, Williams also broke the record for 'most hairpins in a wig in 30 seconds' using 90 hairpins.
This time, wig master Helen Williams set a new record by crafting the widest wig in the world.
The length of this wig measures an astonishing 3.65 meters! Reports suggest Williams used over 800 hair bundles to create the wig, with expenses totaling $2,719.
The widest wig in the world is longer than a Mini Cooper.
According to Guinness World Records, 'For scale, a Mini Cooper measures 3.63 meters in length. Williams started working on the wig in February and completed it in just over a month.'
