Located in Mexico City, Califa de León is just 3 meters long and can accommodate approximately 6 people at a time. Despite its lack of resemblance to the traditionally awarded Michelin-starred restaurants, this establishment is the first taco stand in Mexico to receive a Michelin star.

To prepare Mexico's famous dish, tacos, only thinly sliced beef fillet, salt, and a hint of lime are used here.

While one person cooks the tacos, another prepares the cornbread! The head chef attributes the deliciousness of the tacos to this simplicity.

'We only have a tortilla, our red or green sauce. It's the quality of the meat that makes the taco delicious.  These tasty and straightforward tacos are sold in an average neighborhood, amidst street vendors selling fake nails, imitation jewelry, and phone cases.

Currently priced at $5, these tacos may seem expensive for Mexico, but it's quite reasonable for a Michelin-starred restaurant!
