How To Unlock The Ice Axe In COD: Warzone And Vanguard

As Call of Duty Season 2 is nearing its conclusion for both Warzone and Vanguard, the season’s final weapon has been unapparently added into the game. The Ice Axe weapon which can be used as both melee and throwable weapon is now available and there are multiple ways that you can unlock it.

You can acquire the Ice Ave in Vanguard Mulitiplayer by getting 3 kills with the Throwing Knife in a single match 15 times.  The Throwing Knife is retrievable lethal equipment that can be added to your custom loadout which means you ca use it over and over again. So even if the challenge requires you to get kills multiple times, it shouldn’t be that hard to accomplish in multiplayer. 

Remember that you can only get credit towards your challenge progression if you complete the matches. This means you cna’t just get the 3 Throwing Knife Kills and then quit the match.

This next one is more of a grind than a challenge. Getting the Ice Axe in Zombies requires you to use melee weapons to kill 50 Sturmkriegers. They are Vanguards “tank” zombies equipped with heavy armor and Deathmachine minigun. They don’t spawn that much so it would take some time and patience to kill 50 of them, not to mention that they’re as durable as steel.
