Elden Ring: The Elden Donut mod

Elden Ring gamers are on another level of weird crap. Youtuber ToastedShoes, who was already known to release several modded gameplay videos, recently posted another video entitled “Elden Ring but ruined with mods.”

This blatant reimagination of FromSoftware’s game resulted in a comical and priceless viewing experience. One of the clips included is a hilarious attempt of Tarnished Homer Simpson battling Shrek, Elmo.

“I love the Shrek and Donkey mod,” ToastedShoes told Kotaku. “Having Shrek ride Donkey as his ‘noble steed’ almost seems poetic in nature.”

“If all pans out,” ToastedShoes mentioned, “I would love to mod the entirety of Elden Ring!”

With the use of Youtuber Garden of Eye’s mods, ToastedShoes was able to set off to a quest of acquiring the “Elden Donut.” There are also other Elden Ring characters who were replaced with famous cartoon characters. Other videos of ToastedShoes includes Torrent is Slinky Dog from Toy Story, Melina is Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time, White-Faced Varré is Bugs Bunny, Santa Claus–I mean Merchant Kalé is Morshu from Link: The Faces of Evil, Grafted Scion is now Pyramid Obama, Multiple guards, knights, and minibosses are Elmo from Sesame Street and Pepe the Frog, Tortoises (also known as dogs) are now a horrific Goofy homunculus.

Creating game mods is a creative way to enjoy console games. It adds extra content and another level of spice to games that are usually played for hundreds of hours. It is exciting to see what mod creators are still hiding under their sleeves.
