Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt opens June on Netflix with a bang with his 2004 epic historical war film starrer, ‘Troy’ along with a bunch of films and shows that are arriving on the same day as well.
The war between the ancient kingdoms of Troy and Sparta is depicted in this epic based on Homer's 'Iliad.' While visiting Spartan King Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) falls in love with Menelaus' wife Helen (Diane Kruger) and returns to Troy with her. After defeating every army in Greece, Menelaus' brother, King Agamemnon (Brian Cox), exploits his brother's rage as an excuse to make war on Troy, the last country standing in the way of his hegemony over the Aegean Sea.
