Shadow and Bone Season 2: Everything You Need to Know

The Shadow & Bone season 2 is finally official! Season 1 of the show followed Alina Starkov as she discovered power inside her that she never knew existed. She was forced to run with The Darkling after he betrayed her trust, but the enemy eventually captured them.

After being rescued by Mal and a group of outlaws in Marod, they set out to find a way to help defeat the enemy forces. But, as we learned at the end of season 1, Alina could be an integral part of this task as she was revealed to be Grisha — a rare power that can help destroy The Fold forever.

The second season will be called Siege and Storm and will consist of 10 episodes.

Leigh Bardugo developed this series. She also wrote the screenplay for the series. Bardugo has admitted that there are some changes from her books in the Netflix adaptation of the show, but it would appear that fans of the books have well received them. 

In addition, Netflix has already renewed Shadow & Bone for a second season, so there's no need to worry about the show getting canceled any time soon.

When is the season 2 of Shadow & Bone release date?

Remember that filming started in January 2021, so we believe that season 2 will likely come out in the second half of 2022. However, the series finale of Shadow & Bone was released on 17 December 2018, so we imagine that new episodes won't be released until winter of 2022 at the earliest.
