Let’s start with the simplest question: how many sides does the pyramid have? Your answer is probably three. Wrong! Okay, is it four or maybe five? Or should we go further and say six? No, none of these are correct!

When viewed from ground level, it’s impossible to notice this unique feature. It was only when British Air Force pilot P. Groves photographed the pyramid from above that its true shape was revealed.

However, seeing this shape requires a bit of luck. Depending on the angle of the sunlight, the eight sides may not be noticeable. The best time to observe all eight sides of the pyramid is during the equinoxes!
