It’s official from the Adult Swim platform that its extravagant unstable live-action film, Three Busy Debras, returns for season two this April 22nd. This new instalment will arrive via Adult Swim and HBO Max concurrently.
Resembling Adult Swim’s Heather, this film follows the dreamlike experiences of three almost-perfect housewives, Debra, from Lemoncurd Town. It’s starred, created and written by Mitra Jouhari of High Maintenance and Friends from College, Alyssa Stonoha, and Sandy Honig of Isn’t It Romantic.
Trailer and Storyline
The previous season ended with the three Debras accidentally murdering a pool boy, attending Debspringa, joining acrobatics and getting messy with Lemoncurd Town’s law enforcement.
In the trailer, the three Debras continue with their several discouraging acts. Debra one appears to be sprinkling herself with milk from a sprinkler. The second one is on a couch getting excited over a curious red hand with which she begins a disagreement. Debra three is on a bed and is unveiled to be a horse.
As the trailer carries one, the first Debra angrily sprinkles milk on lots of cereal; the second one rolls over the couch as the red hands continue to fascinate her, while the third one is offered hay for food after it’s disclosed that she owns a horse hoof as her foot- disturbing!
The trailer winds up with the triad sharing a meal unveiled to be their heads. We are in for more unrealistic madness that is humorous and destabilizing at the same time.
