Who is Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s daughter, Violet Affleck?

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were probably an ideal couple for most of us before the couple filed for divorce in 2018. Now while their relationship as husband and wife came to its unfortunate end, their relationship is still as interesting now as it was before. Here are some things that we should now about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner:

• The two started dating in 2004 and got married in a very, very private ceremony in 2005.

• The couple’s wedding was attended by only two guests— the officiant, Victor Garber, and his partner, Rainer Andreesen.

• Violet, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, and Samuel are Affleck and Garner’s kids.

• Affleck and Garner jointly filed for their divorce in 2017 and it was finalized in 2018.

• The couple is strongly against paparazzis.

Affleck and Garner first met in 2000 at the set of Pearl Harbor and were reunited for Daredevil. At the time, Garner was married to Scott Foley and Affleck was engaged to Jennifer Lopez. In 2003, Garner and Foley announced their divorce. A year after that, Affleck and Lopez called off their engagement.

With the two of them now being single, they made their first appearance in public as a couple in 2004 and married just a year after in 2005. The couple has three children— Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Their 13-year marriage ended in 2018 when the couple finalized their divorce. They have joint legal custody over their three children and still maintain a good relationship.

We can only think that the Affleck and Garner’s divorce must have been difficult for their children, especially for their first-born, Violet Affleck, who was already 13 years old when the couple split.

Violet Affleck is the first of Garner-Affleck children. She was born on December 1, 2005 in Los Angeles, California. She was born just 6 months after her parents got married.

Reports say that Garner tries her best to make her children stay grounded and realize that not all people have the life that they are living. Moreover, the couple also puts emphasis on their children’s education.

Violet has already been under the public’s eye since she was born. Photos of her since she was little are all throughout the internet, and we can already see that the now 17-year-old is growing up more and more like her mom! Now while Violet is really a headturner, her parents say that they are not that worried about boys hovering over her since she is still in “Zoom school” and is studying in an all-girls institution. Her parents are also proud of her since she is known to be a bright and studious child who actually speaks better Spanish than her father!

In 2002 to 2003 and 2008 to 2009, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner battled the latter’s stalker, Steven Burky. In 2008, the family filed a restraining order against him and was arrested in 2009 outside Violet’s preschool!

Violet has always displayed confidence in front of the public.In 2013, the hyper-articulate girl delivered a speech about how paparazzis disrupted their everyday lives. This was in connection to her parents’ advocacy on how celebrity children should be spared from the flashing lights of the press.

Imagine having to go through such experiences at such a young age! One thing is for sure though, Violet Affleck has really grown up to be the smart, confident teenager that she is, and maybe she got that from her parents.
