Rapper Big Sean will be taking a break from his music career to focus on the birth of his child. Along with his partner Jhene Aiko, the artist is expecting to have a baby boy quite soon.Aiko, who is 34-years old, is a well known singer and artist in the hip hop genre in her own right and the superstar pair will soon become a family of three.The news was first reported in July of this year when Sean and Jhene were spotted walking in Los Angeles and Aiko was displaying a baby bump.The couple recently celebrated Jhene's pregnancy with a no expense spared baby shower party.The rapper spoke to TMZ at LAX airport, who asked him if he had come up with any names for his child.Sean Don replied to the network's reporter, saying he didn't know yet, not eager to reveal anything as of yet.'You know that's a good question, but, I don't have a good answer,' the hip hop star joked.Big Sean was also asked about how long he planned to step away from the hip hop world to care for his son.'Well I'm definitely takin some time for it to just be us,' the rapper explained.You can't really put a time limit on it, you gotta feel it out,' he saidShout out to all the mothers man, and dads, doin it you know,' Sean added.

Lil Baby's new album 'Its Only Me,' has topped the Billboard 200 music charts in the USA, with the highest number of first-week sales if his career to date.Billboard has the Atlanta artist's release recorded as selling 216,000 album equivalent units in its first week on the shelves.The rapper's project debuted at number 1 in the Billboard charts and 209,000 of its unit sales came from SEA (Streaming Equivalent Albums) units, which means the songs from the LP have been streamed around 88.97 million times.The album's figures so far means it is up there with the top hip hop releases of this year.At current, it is the third most successful rap album in sales. behind Kendrick Lamar's 'Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,' and 'I Never Liked You,; by Future.That means that Lil Baby has outsold some of the genre's biggest names this year, outdoing Drake's 'Honestly, Never Mind,' which only garnered 204,000 units sold in its debut week.Lil Baby's newest release was dropped on the 14th of October, and saw tracks assisted by the likes of Young Thug, Future, Jeremih and Fridayy.Pooh Shiesty Nardo Wick, EST Gee and Rylo Rodriguez also feature on songs on the project.

Cardi B has seen her success achieved in numbers as she has reached over 100 million in Recording Industry Association of America Certified (RIAA) units sold.According to a report by 'Chart Data,' the RIAA certification includes albums, singles and feature appearances that Cardi B has garnered in her music career up to now.The Bronx-raised rapper has amassed over 54 million digital sales, which means she is now the best-selling female hip-hop artist of all-time.This success comes after the RIAA recently announced that the New York native's singles 'Bodak Yellow,' and 'I Like It,' which features Latin stars J Balvin and Bad Bunny, have each sold 11 million units in the United States of America.'Bodak Yellow,' was Cardi's lead single off of her debut studio project, titled 'Invasion of Privacy.'The song earned Cardi B a diamond record, a feat never before awarded to a female rapper.She also became the first female hip hop artist to climb to the summit of the Billboard Hot 100 music charts in the USA in 19 years with that single.
Drake and 21 Savage Announce Upcoming Collaborative Album
Rappers Drake and 21 Savage have announced that they will be releasing a new joint album together, which will be called, 'Her Loss.'The pair made the announcement in quite an innovative way, interlacing a new music video with the news.On Friday (21st October), Drizzy announced that he would be dropping a new music video for the duo's most recent song release. The Detroit native's 'Curtain Call,' has charted for over 11 and a half years, though it is regarded as a compilation album and not a studio album.Lamar's Pulitzer Prize winning album 'DAMN,' released in 2017, is also 63rd on the charts while this year's release, 'Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,' sits in 26th spot.Lamar's project was first released in October of 2012 through TDE, Interscope and Aftermath.It garnered huge plaudits and popularity upon dropping, and featured a number of hit songs on its track list.'Swimming Pools (Drank),' Backseat Freestyle,' and 'B*, Don't Kill My Vibe,' all featured on the album, that received several nominations at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
