She’s a 94-year-old great-grandmother who has spent more than four decades of her life dedicated to McDonald’s restaurants.
Loraine Maurer, from, Evansville, Indiana is not planning to give up anytime soon – despite celebrating more that four decades of service.
Loraine Maurer, a 94-year-old cashier who has worked at several locations throughout Evansville, Ind., started working at the chain in 1973.
On Thursday, Chip and Katie Kenworthy, the owners of the McDonald’s location where the 94-year-old currently works, threw a party in her honor.
“After all these years, she remains committed to serving her customers with one of the most delightful smiles around. Loraine has a loyal following of customers and they look forward to having her take their orders when visiting McDonald’s,” the couple said in a statement.
Even though she thinks about retiring every winter, she says she just can’t seem to leave.
