Istanbul Temperature to Drop 16°C with Thunderstorms
AKOM has released the weekly weather forecast for Istanbul. According to the latest information shared, the temperature across Istanbul will drop by a whopping 16 degrees. The temperature, which had reached 36 degrees in the past weeks, will now hover around 20 degrees. Additionally, a warning has been issued for heavy rain on Friday.
Starting from this evening, cooler weather is on its way.
AKOM has released the weather forecast for Istanbul. As of Wednesday, August 26, the city will be under the dominion of a lightly clouded and clear sky throughout the day. Thermometers, which hover around 24 degrees in the early hours, are expected to rise to 31 degrees by noon. The temperature is predicted to drop to 25 degrees in the evening and further down to 22 degrees at night.
The temperature will plummet by 16 degrees. A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by AKOM.
In the past weeks, the temperature, which had reached up to 36 degrees, is expected to plummet by 16 degrees, settling down to around 22 degrees. A warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain has been issued for Friday. On the 28th of August, Friday, it's predicted that the entire day will be marked by thunderstorms and heavy rain, with an estimated rainfall amount ranging between 3 to 7 kilograms per square meter.
The rainfall is set to continue its impact on the 29th of August, Saturday. On Saturday morning, intermittent showers are expected, while the overall weather for the day is anticipated to be partly cloudy. The temperatures are said to remain within the range of 20 degrees at the lowest and 27 degrees at the highest. The expected amount of rainfall for Saturday is announced to be between 2 to 5 kilograms per square meter.
Starting from the 30th of August, Sunday, the rainy weather will bid farewell to the metropolis. Following a partly cloudy Sunday, it is forecasted that the weather across Istanbul will be mostly clear and sunny on the 31st of August, Monday, and the 1st of September, Tuesday.
