Istanbul Beauty Salon Secretly Recorded Customers and Sold 14,000 Videos Online
A scandal has surfaced at a beauty and hair removal center operating in Bakırköy, Istanbul. Acting on a tip-off about the business in the district, the teams were confronted with a shocking setup. During the search conducted at the premises, 7 hidden cameras were seized. On the other hand, it was determined that 14,000 videos taken with hidden cameras were published on the internet.

An operation was carried out on a beauty center operating in Bakırköy, Istanbul. It was reported that customers' images were secretly recorded and sold over social media platforms.
Upon receiving the report, teams sprung into action and conducted a search in the business premises. The search yielded seven devices, one of which was active, with hidden camera mechanisms, and numerous digital materials were seized. During the operation, it was discovered that 14,000 videos were broadcasted on a platform.
Three individuals were taken into custody.
The business owner and the two suspects who installed the camera system were taken into custody on charges of 'violating the privacy of personal life', 'illegally obtaining personal data', and 'obscenity'.
The suspects are currently undergoing procedures at the police station.
