Pollution has been a persistent problem in India for years. Rivers there are more than just sources of water; they lie at the heart of daily life and religious faith. The footage showed a crowd gathered along the riverbank, as well as waste collecting on the water’s surface. The sight angered viewers just as much as it did Bittu.

Messages left behind for future generations can resurface decades later thanks to time capsules. Fifty years ago, as the United States celebrated the 200th anniversary of its independence, many families and communities buried capsules around Independence Day, hoping to pass down newspapers, coins and everyday items from the era. This year, as the nation marks its 250th anniversary, it’s time to open those capsules.A user named “mommakay93” shared footage of the moment their family unearthed and opened a time capsule they had buried in 1976. Pulled from the ground with heavy machinery, it contained all kinds of items from the period, from newspapers to coins. The belongings, preserved for half a century, offered viewers a glimpse into the past.

The smoke soon engulfed the entire street, transforming the scene into something resembling a battlefield.

Even so, it’s easy to imagine how extraordinary the atmosphere and the sensation itself must be.

Because the nose sits at the center of the face, it has a direct impact on both our appearance and how comfortably we breathe. An injury sustained in childhood can lead to aesthetic and functional problems years later. Today, rhinoplasty has become a relatively straightforward procedure, making it easier to address even long-standing issues.A surgeon shared the story of a 25-year-old man who decided to have surgery 22 years after suffering lasting damage from a blow to the nose at age three. Before-and-after images from the five-hour operation won praise from viewers.

Trying out trends we see on social media has become part of everyday life for many people. But when we get caught up in the excitement of the moment and act without thinking about what might happen, things don’t always go to plan. Videos filmed in the sea during the summer, in particular, can quickly turn chaotic.A woman hoping to film a video on the beach set her phone down on the wet sand near the water’s edge. Suddenly, a wave swept it away. Stunned and unsure what to do, she searched for the phone with her friend, but their efforts came to nothing.

Dogs are creatures of habit, known for sticking closely to their daily routines and following them almost to the letter. They take the same route on their morning walks, stop at the same corner to sniff the same tree, and relieve themselves in the same spot a familiar sight to anyone who owns a dog. Since marking their territory by sniffing and urinating is perfectly natural for dogs, they’re unlikely to switch to a new spot once they’ve settled on one. So we end up having to work around their routines. While out for a run with a friend, a user named “duru.syc” set her phone down at the base of a tree and posed in front of it. But then something completely unexpected happened: a dog passing by the tree went right over and peed exactly where the phone was. The camera caught the two women’s astonished reactions, and they shared the footage with the caption, “This could only happen to us.”

One of the toughest parts of a baby’s early years is vaccination day. It’s hard on both babies and their parents, and it’s a moment that tugs at everyone’s heartstrings. Often, the tension and fear can be even more upsetting for little ones than the brief sting of the needle itself. Of course, no one understands that better than children who have recently been through it.As a nurse prepared to give a baby an injection, a little boy tried to stop her, clinging to her legs and crying at the same time. The nurse and the mother, seated with the baby in her arms, didn’t know what to do. The little big brother’s determined effort warmed the hearts of everyone watching.

Pedestrian crossings are among the places where drivers and pedestrians most often come into conflict, despite being used countless times every day by people navigating city streets. They can also be easy to overlook or even ignore which can lead to numerous accidents. That’s why countries around the world continue to test technological solutions designed to make both pedestrians and drivers more alert, particularly after dark.A smart pedestrian crossing captured at an intersection in China has drawn attention as one such innovation. When the light was green, the crossing’s stripes glowed green and a countdown appeared. As the signal turned red, the stripes changed to red, while the words “Do not cross on red” and “STOP” were projected onto the road. The footage left viewers amazed.

Breast milk can vary in color for all sorts of reasons, from what a mother has eaten that day to the time of day she pumps. Most of us picture it as white, creamy, or slightly yellow, but mothers who pump may occasionally find some surprising shades in their bottles. While most color changes are harmless, knowing when to be concerned is just as important.A content creator named “slaurenlove2” shared a photo of her milk, which had turned completely green. Some people couldn’t believe it was real, while others warned her that something might be wrong.

Livestock farming may look like a quiet country life from the outside, but in reality, it demands hard work, patience, and know-how every single day. Behind the milk, meat, and wool that make their way to our tables lies a year-round effort to keep the flock healthy. One of the most important parts of that work is regularly dipping sheep in a medicated solution to protect them from external parasites such as ticks, lice, and mange mites. Even one sick animal can quickly affect the entire flock, seriously reducing both productivity and wool quality.A video showing sheep being dipped went viral on social media. The sight of the flock moving through in perfect order had viewers transfixed. Many were impressed by the hard work behind what might seem like a routine task.

Central America was rocked by a series of earthquakes. A powerful quake that struck Panama on October 9 caused damage across numerous areas, forcing the evacuation of several hospitals. Evacuated outside on her hospital bed, the new mother said she and her baby were safe and well after being evacuated three times that day.
