Woman Amuses Social Media by Scattering Street Leaves in Her Garden for Instagram

These days, many people plan activities with social media posts in mind; sometimes, they even socialize simply so they’ll have something to share. As a result, we rarely know what goes on behind the scenes of the images we see—and reality can be very different from what appears on screen.

One woman picked leaves up off the street just to create an Instagram post. She carried them in a bag and scattered them one by one across the garden and over the grass, creating a picture-perfect autumn scene. Once the photos were taken, she began gathering the leaves back up. The sight made viewers laugh, while also prompting them to reflect on social media’s latest reality.
