Summer means sun, loud music, friends, tons of fun and of course, festival season! If you're attending some of these kick a** festivals, it's awesome. If not, don't be sorry, you can just as well stream them or, you know, hit up Snapchat for tons of videos! 

Here we give you the Top 20 festivals you should follow this summer!

1. Rock am Ring: June 3rd-5th - Mendig, Germany

Germany is well known for its amazing Rock festivals. Rock am Ring has been organizing solid festivals with massive lineups so far! This year, it has something for everyone! From Bring Me the Horizon's odd tunes to Red Hot Chili Peppers' relaxed tunes to Black Sabbath's black black metal!

2. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival: June 9th-12th - Manchester, Tennessee, USA

Bonnaroo has been recently getting that Glastonbury vibe compared to a bit more metal jamming in its past years. Plus, check out its very trippy poster! There are lots of shows for both indie lovers and major name hunters!

3. Mysterland US: June 10th-13th - New York, USA

Claiming the very original Woodstock festival's grounds as its own, Mysterland's US adventure is set to be the most colorful festival NY will see this summer. On a side note, Mysterland began its journey in the Netherlands back in the nineties!

4. Download Festival: June 10th-12th - Paris + Donnington, UK

Now this is some metal up your a** for Europe! Download festival never disappoints when it comes to big acts, lots of pyro and a wild, very wild crowd! Tune in for some serious metal bands!

5. Pinkpop Festival: June 10th-12th - Landgraaf, Netherlands

Summer vibes, lovely colors, beautiful atmosphere of The Netherlands and perfect tunes! Get ready to tune into Pinkpop Festival in the upcoming weeks for some Red Hot Chili Peppers, Major Lazer, Rammstein aaaaaand PAUL MCCARTNEY!

6. Firefly Festival: June 16th-19th - Dover, Delaware, USA

Located in the woods of Dover, the Firefly Festival was named after all the flickering fireflies you'll see during the night. On top of all this, it has some amazing headliners such as Florence & The Machine, Deadmau5, Death Cab for Cutie, Mumford & Suns, Kings of Leon, Ellie Goulding and many more!

7. Electric Daisy Carnival: June 17th-19th - Las Vegas, NV, USA

There are tons of EDM festivals all over the country, but one name remains the king for sure: Electric Daisy! The line-up is yet to be announced, but as always, many of the big names will be in the desert of Nevada, ready to bring color to your weekend!

8. Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts: June 22nd-26th - Pilton, UK

This is as good as it gets! Glastonbury is the largest greenfield festival in the WORLD! Tons of indie bands, big names, amazing stage shows and much more. But, you're never going to find tickets! Ha ha! In any case, prepare to be amazed...

9. Summerfest: June 29th-July 10th - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

One of the largest music festivals in the world, Summerfest is for a more mature audience. So you won't be seeing so many EDM, dubstep born kids losing it on the floor. Besides, it's also the most accessible festival in the country with 13 dollars tickets for TONS of acts involving Paul McCartney, Sting, Luke Bryan, Billy Idol, Weird Al and the wild boy of EDM, Martin Garrix. Because you know, why not?

10. Roskilde Festival: June 25th-July 2nd - Roskilde, Denmark

The Nordics do raise the bar as always. It's like there are festivals and then there's Roskilde, in all its glory, charity loving, packed with fun and amazing shows! Even though it's the largest festival in Northern Europe, all the money made from ticket sales go directly to charity. It gets better! Roskilde also hosts a naked run! Be ready for some BIG BIG names and weirdness.

11. Essence Festival: June 30th-July 3rd - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA

An annual celebration of black culture in the States always promises wonderful shows, a fun time, and lots of seminars by life coaches! This years headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Maxwell, Puff Daddy and Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds!

12. Ultra Music Festival Europe: July 15th-17th - Croatia

Miami's biggest, Ultra Music Festival has been expanding its reach over the past years with Ultra Europe. Imagine all the big names, same magnificent stages and the refreshing atmosphere of Croatia! Ultra Europe will give you all the EDM love you want with Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Above&Beyond, David Guetta and more!

13. Pitchfork Music Festival: July 15th-17th - Chicago, Illinois, USA

Probaby one of the most well organized and well run festival in the world, Pitchfork never disappoints. Offering music from all around the globe, Pitchfork will host Brian Wilson, Savages, Julia Holter and many more! Plus, we're really loving their flat design poster!

14. Tomorrowland: July 22nd-24th - Boom, Belgium

Ok this is where it gets BIG and serious. All the festivals aside, Tomorrowland really kills it with stage designs, shows and putting together a truly magical weekend...With an amazing growth rate, Tomorrowland has surpassed 300,000 visitors last year. Needless to say, most of the big names will be there. Tickets are a mystery. Some say they never exist, some say it takes you 5 years to buy one. One way or another, make sure you tune in to its amazing stream!

15. Panaroma Music Festival: July 22nd-24th - New York, USA

A fascinating panaromic view of New York while the beat goes on...Who could say no? Coachella's producer, Goldenvoice, is now ready to invade New York and is already creating a big buzz! Get ready for Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, A$AP Rocky, Sia and more!

16. Lollapalooza: July 28th-31st - Chicago, Illinois, USA

Chicago's finest, Lollapalooza makes things much easier than spelling its name. The festival celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and some major shows are confirmed. Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Major Lazer, Lana Del Rey and more! The festival will also take place in Berlin in September.

17. Wacken Open Air: August 4th-6th - Wacken, Germany

Are you ready to experience total metal madness? Wacken takes it to extreme levels when it comes to putting together a kick a** metal festival. Its 2016 line-up is yet to be announced but we're absolutely sure it will be as hardcore as ever!

18. Sziget Island of Freedom: August 10th-17th - Budapest, Hungary

Europe's Island of Freedom is back once again! Located in the heart of Budapest, Sziget offers a week full of fun, freedom and loudness. Also, if you're tired of the music (which won't happen), you can explore the beautiful city of Budapest and soak in all the history!

19. FYF (F*ck Yeah Fest): August 27th-28th, Los Angeles, California, USA

Summer's not over until Los Angeles makes its entrance! Short but sweet are the proper adjectives for FYF! This year's headliners include Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Grace Jones and more!

20. Made in America Festival: September 3th-4th, Philadelphia, USA

As American as a festival gets! Jay Z's Labor Day party gets bigger and better every year! But to be honest, everyone's more curious to see how all the rumors between him and Beyonce will effect the festival. Stay tuned for the line-up!
