While the sale of brand-new vehicles in Turkey's automotive market is following a weak trend, brands and authorized dealers have launched new discount campaigns. Fluctuations in the exchange rate have forced some brands to increase their list prices, while dealers are trying to stimulate sales by cutting from their own profit margins. The slowdown in new car sales in Turkey has prompted manufacturers and authorized dealers to devise new campaigns. The recent volatility in the exchange rate has led some brands to increase their list prices, but dealers who want to attract buyers are offsetting this increase by making significant discounts on each vehicle from their own profit margins.
Under the campaign, a large number of models from both the domestic production Togg and imported brands are finding buyers at prices below the current list price. While the discount rate varies from model to model, promotional prices particularly stand out in B and C segment hatchback and SUV models.
