The 'Mars Statue' is housed in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum in Gaziantep and is considered one of the museum's most valuable pieces. This bronze artifact, which symbolizes fertility and power, has managed to retain almost all of its original form over its approximately 2,000-year existence, thereby attracting the attention of visitors. A new platform has been constructed for the Mars Statue, one of the museum's most sought-after pieces.
Now, Mars can be viewed more closely.
The Mars Statue, which is approximately 2,000 years old, stands as one of the most significant pieces in the Zeugma Mosaic Museum.

Undoubtedly, one of the most striking exhibits in this museum, where the famous Gypsy Girl and dozens of mosaic works are on display, is the Statue of Mars. Mars, portraying a young warrior, particularly draws attention with his 'fierce' gaze. The helmeted figure's curly and voluminous hair, parting in the middle, frames his forehead and face, extending to the nape of his neck.
The statue, whose pupils are adorned with gold and silver inlays, exudes an expression of anger and determination. The fact that the statue has been unearthed intact is considered nothing short of a miracle.
Visitors will have the opportunity to observe Mars more closely.

Situated on the historic Silk Road, a museum was established by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2011, spanning an area of 30,000 square meters. Among the significant artifacts displayed in the museum, a viewing platform of 16 square meters was constructed to facilitate a closer examination of the details of a particular statue.
Constructed with dimensions of approximately 2 meters in length and 8 meters in width, the platform provides visitors with the opportunity to closely observe the statue's eyes, which are intricately adorned with gold and silver inlays.
