According to a report by BBC Turkish, the UK’s left-liberal newspaper The Guardian announced that it had stopped sharing news on its X account as of November 13. The newspaper cited "disturbing content" on the platform, such as racism and conspiracy theories, as the reason for leaving X.
Additionally, prominent CNN anchor Don Lemon, Germany's historic football club St. Pauli, and Austrian Airlines also announced their departure from X.
The hashtag “X-odus”—a combination of “X” and “exodus”—is being used on the platform to highlight the wave of departures.
