The People We Hate at the Wedding recently acquired a Prime Video premiere date after an entire year under production.

The movie began production in September 2021 as an adaptation of Grant Ginder’s book of the same title. Amazon Prime Video recently offered the film a mid-November premiere date.

The People We Hate at the Wedding revolves around a pair of siblings invited to their estranged sister’s Eloise wedding in the United Kingdom. Eloise has been super wealthy and never got along with her two siblings.

With the persuasion of their mother Donna, Alice and Paul side-heartedly agree to attend their sister’s Wedding.

At the Wedding, Alice and Paul’s secrets spill out as their mother constantly hopes her three children can leave everything behind and reunite like before.

Yes. Prime Video unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming film, The People We Hate at the Wedding. In 2 minutes and 41 seconds, the trailer starts with Eloise's wedding invitation to her two siblings and mother, hoping it will be an opportunity to reconnect.

The series is a co-project of Wishmore, FilmNation Entertainment, and Amazon Studios. Grant Ginder’s story was adapted by Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin (The Molyneux sisters).
