Necla Özmen, who drew attention with her resemblance to Trump, became a global sensation with her claim of "My father is Trump."
Necla Özmen, a resident of Ankara, had initiated a legal battle claiming that she is the biological daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump. Özmen, who had filed a paternity lawsuit against Trump, also claimed to have appealed to U.S. authorities.
Özmen alleged that her adoptive mother revealed the truth to her years later, stating that she had learned she was given to another family shortly after her birth. Asserting her belief that Trump is her biological father, Özmen desired her claim to be solidified through a DNA test. Expressing her wish to meet Trump at the NATO Summit, Özmen emphasized that she had prepared stuffed vine leaves and baklava, traditional Turkish dishes, and intended to serve them to him if he agreed to meet.
Psychiatrist Arif Verimli has shed light on the situation of Necla Özmen, who claims to be the daughter of Trump.
Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Arif Verimli has commented on Necla Özmen's claim. Özmen, who asserts to be the daughter of Trump, has been described by Verimli as suffering from 'delusions'. Verimli expressed his sympathy for her, stating 'I feel deeply sorry for this woman... This is a delusion... Even if Trump were to provide DNA and it turned out she's not his daughter, she would still not believe it.'
Verimli diagnosed Özmen's condition as a 'delusional disorder'.
"I'm afraid it's going to end badly."
Prof. Dr. Verimli, who pointed out that posts shared online also triggered Özmen, responded to comments from his followers.
In response to a follower's message stating, 'I think he found a way to make money from social media, that's why he persists,' Verimli denied this, emphasizing that there is treatment for such a situation.
Verimli expressed his fear, saying, 'I'm afraid this might end badly.'
