Negotiates Car Deals for Others and Reaches $200,000 in Monthly Revenue
Those who no longer wish to spend hours haggling with car dealers and dealing with the stress created by price negotiations are now leaving the process to professionals. Tomi Mikula, a former car dealer, is leveraging his industry experience on behalf of his clients; his company negotiates with dealers to secure the most suitable deal and charges a fixed fee for each transaction.
He started to leverage his experience at car dealerships to the advantage of customers.
Tomi Mikula has spent over a decade in the automotive industry, working in various sectors including sales and finance. He gained an intimate understanding of dealership pricing strategies, additional product offerings, and sales techniques that pressure customers into making decisions.
In the early days, he concluded approximately 50 car deals by offering free assistance to people he met on online forums. Seeing an increase in demand, he established a company called Delivrd and set a fixed service fee of a thousand dollars for each customer.
He's driving down the price by pitting dealers against each other.
Mikula and his team take on the task of communicating with various dealerships selling the same car on behalf of the client. They identify vehicles that have been sitting in inventory for a long time and attempt to secure lower prices by informing sellers about offers from other dealerships.
The negotiation isn't confined to the sticker price of the vehicle. Financing rates, warranty packages, tire services, and additional insurance products are also scrutinized; any items that could potentially incur unnecessary costs for the client are requested to be removed from the contract.
The discussions are being watched millions of times on social media.
The company currently collaborates with five professional negotiators, generating a turnover of approximately $200,000 per month. This figure represents the total service revenue collected from clients, not Mikula's personal income.
Some dealer negotiations are broadcasted live with the client's permission. While these contentious phone conversations have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, the total number of followers on Mikula's YouTube and TikTok accounts is nearing 700,000.
