Lifetime has the best thriller films of all time. The streaming platform has added to its film library a new thriller, Lies My Sister Told Me, initially named My Stolen Life, a slightly complicated story filled with secrets.
As per the synopsis, Lies My Sister Told Me is a suspense-filled burning thriller. It revolves around betrayal, secrets, and murder chronicle between two twin sisters.
Tracy blames herself after their father’s death and becomes institutionalized and psychotic. When her twin sister, Jennifer, comes over for their dad’s fifteenth death anniversary, Tracy freaks, drugs her sister, adopts her identity and flees to live a free and adventurous life for the first time in fifteen years.
Unexpectedly, Tracy is trapped in her sister’s creepy life involving a teenage daughter who dislikes her, a boyfriend who is blackmailing her, and a fun club manager that’s crazy over her.
While the honest Jennifer deteriorates in the institution, Tracy becomes more desperate with the potent drugs she requires to manage her mind’s state. Before she realizes it, she is racing down a path filled with murder and violence.
