Something’s Cooking in Apple TV+: Elisabeth Moss’s Shining Girls Premieres on April 29th

A drama series is a significant event when Elisabeth Moss makes an appearance. This iconic star from the Top of the Lake, Mad Men, US, The Invisible Man and The Handmaid’s Tale, has been termed one of the most brilliant TV actresses and is now back with another super hit series, Shining Girls.

Shining Girls Plot

This new Apple TV project follows Lauren Beukes’ novel of the same name, with Moss as the starring character, the chief director, and the executive producer. 

Elisabeth Moss portraying Kirby told Deadline that her trauma has everything connected to the fact that she barely remembers her attackers, driving her insane. She adds, “It’s not about the person’s gender; it’s the fact that I cannot remember who it was, who’s the person?”

Wagner Moura representing Dan Velazquez is the investigative reporter tackling Kirby’s case but emotionally bonded amidst the investigation.

Shining Girls Cast

Your main cast for the show comprises Elisabeth Moss enacting Kirby, Jamie Bell portraying Harper Curtis, Wagner Moura depicting Dan Velazquez, Phillipa Soo representing Jin-Sook, Chris Chalk, and Erika Alexander paying TBC alongside Amy Brenneman portraying Rachel.

Shining Girls Premiere Date

Shining Girls airs on Friday, April 29th, on Apple TV+. Its first three episodes will be unveiled on the above date, followed by a new episode landing every week on Fridays to complete the eight-episode series.
