The telescope array, which will spread over an area of approximately 20 x 16 kilometers, will not only observe distant galaxies. It will also be able to constantly monitor the ever-changing structure of the universe.

It is Planned to Start Operation in 2029

Caltech has completed the design process of the project. With the start of construction works, it is aimed for the system to start scientific observations in 2029.

The scientific world believes that with the activation of the Deep Synoptic Array, many unresolved questions about the universe so far may be answered.
