In the state of Kentucky, USA, an incident reminiscent of a movie took place.
A 36-year-old man named Hoover was admitted to the hospital after an overdose. Doctors stated that the patient had no reflexes and showed no brain activity.
Following a heart attack, brain death was declared, and life support was removed.
Since he was an organ donor, Hoover was taken to the operating room for organ retrieval, but he began to show signs of life. TJ’s sister mentioned that her brother opened his eyes on the way to the operation, but healthcare workers explained that it was likely just a reflex. However, as he lay on the operating table, he started showing visible responses.
Trying to indicate he was alive, the patient even began to cry on the operating table.
