Private school fees, from kindergarten through to university, have skyrocketed to jaw-dropping levels. This has led many students and parents to consider educational opportunities abroad. Simultaneously, the class divide among students has been widening. Consequently, the issue of 'competition' has been brought back into the discussion.
A video taken in the parking lot of a private university in Istanbul went viral on social media. The vehicles, owned by students, were astonishing in terms of their models and prices.

Many people found it hard to believe that the image was of a school parking lot. The license plates of the vehicles in the video, which appeared to have been shot in a gallery, drew attention. The vehicles, each bearing an abbreviated version of the owner's name, delivered another shock. Naturally, the video gave us plenty to talk about.
