Disney Plus’s ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ Season 2 Casts These Ensemble Guest Stars
Disney Plus's version of the animated show The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is coming back for a second run.
The series is a revival of the Disney Channel's groundbreaking version that saw Kyla Pratt, Karen Malina White, Cedric the Entertainer, Jo Marie Payton, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker and Soleil Moon Frye star in leading roles.
'The Proud Family' is Popular for its Celebrity Guest Stars
The Proud Family, which ran for two seasons from 2001 to 2005, enlisted celebrity guest stars like Al-Roker, Shia Labeouf, Ashanti and Mariah Carey, setting quite a high bar for the subsequent series.
The good thing is that The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder managed to surpass expectations by featuring bigwigs such as Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Eva Longoria and Tina Knowles.
Score-wise, the revived installment racked better ratings than the predecessor- 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The original iteration scored 91% on the same website.
