Their economic system was dependent upon a steady workload. There had to be a balance of slaves and mouths to feed. So they spread suspicion and fear, turning neighbors and families against one another. Like the econos said in season two, everyone was spying on everyone else. They were hoping to get into the good graces of the regime so they could protect themselves, but what they didn't understand was that Gilead was its own beast. Nobody was safe, not even the commanders or their families. What they set loose on the earth would run rampant, taking tens of millions of lives with it. Joseph Lawrence didn't go through the motions. He was vulgar and sharp-tongued with a sickening smile and a biting sense of humor. If he tried to play the game nobody would believe him, so he lived his truth. He could be as sarcastic, as angry, or as flippant as needed to be. But he stayed on point, perpetually preaching about the prosperity and welfare of the nation. He was the kooky architect of Gilead, and behind the scenes he was a savvy power player, able to meld in with hypocritical commanders, who likely saw their inner selves in his outwardly impious outlook. It worked because he never wore his true intentions or his feelings on his sleeve. He never told people what he wanted for Gilead either. He kept his sentiments a secret to all. The only thing people could be sure of was that he cared.

Rapper Jeezy has revealed what he treats himself to each year on his birthday in a new interview.Speaking on the 'Million Dollaz Worth of Game' podacast, the Atlanta native revealed that he is no longer interested in purchasing extravagant jewelry or cars when spending his hard earned cash.Instead, the hip hop star said that he now invests in property, not material goods, on every one of his birthdays.“Every big check I ever got, I bought property,' the star stated, 'Every time I had a birthday, I buy property,” “I don’t buy chains, watches, cars, none of that; I buy property,” Jeezy explained.With this habit, the Georgia rapper said he owns 'half of Atlanta.'In the podcast he details his foray into the real-estate world and shouts out his friend and business associate, Solo, for putting him on to the business.“We went and bought all this land and buildings in the beginning. I kinda fell back from it because I was touring. I got back and he was like, ‘Come sit down and talk to me,'” Jeezy explained.“He broke out the business and was like, ‘You know this building you bought for such-and-such is worth this now. And this land you bought for this is worth this now,’ the rapper portrayed. I’m looking and I’m like, ‘Damn! We didn’t do anything.’ He was like, ‘That’s what I’m trying to tell you, that’s what real estate is.’ From that day forward, I was stuck.”

Adidas has ended its partnership with the rapper and producer Kanye West, now known as 'Ye,' after the hip hop star's recent controversial comments.The German sportswear company described West's comments as 'unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous.'The clothing brand has faced many calls to end their relationship with West following a number of interviews with the star have seen him make controversial comments. West also made remarks on social media, all of which have seen the stock price of Adidas plummet as they appeared to make no move to end their professional agreement with West, who has changed his legal name to Ye.Most of the controversy has stemmed from several antisemitic remarks the musician and fashion designer has made.West recently had his accounts on the social media platforms Instagram and Twitter restricted over posts which the platforms said violated their policies.On Tuesday, Adidas said it was going to end production of its Yeezy branded products, designed by Kanye West, with 'immediate effect.'This news came in a statement released by the global sportswear brand.
