Zohran Mamdani’s Statement on Netanyahu: "If He Comes to New York, He Will Be Arrested"
Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani, who emerged victorious in the mayoral elections held in New York, made a pointed reference to the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. He emphatically stated, 'If he sets foot in New York, he will be arrested.'
Zohran Mamdani, who was elected as the mayor of New York, one of the world's largest metropolises, has made a statement about Netanyahu.

Mamdani, a guest on the Los Angeles-based ABC7 television's 'Up Close' program, expressed his disapproval of the current Mayor of New York, Eric Adams' meeting with Netanyahu during his visit to Israel.
Mamdani highlighted that this meeting underscored the disconnection between New York's 'urgent concerns' and symbolic gestures in foreign policy. He pointed out that New Yorkers are on the brink of moving due to the prices in the city they consider their home. Mamdani stated, 'However, his (Eric Adams) actions have little to do with this affordable housing crisis.'
"Anyone can get arrested in New York, no matter who they are."

Mamdani, who noted that Israel is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, stated that the city of New York would enforce the ICC's arrest warrants against Netanyahu, and that 'Netanyahu would be arrested upon setting foot in New York.'
Mamdani expressed, 'Being a city of international law means upholding international law. This situation implies executing the arrest warrants issued by the ICC, whether it's for Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu or (Russian President) Vladimir Putin.'
