Will the Greatest Mystery in Aviation History Be Solved?

On March 8, 2014, a passenger plane belonging to Malaysia Airlines, en route from Malaysia to China, ceased contact with air traffic control and altered its course about an hour after takeoff. Despite some of the most extensive search efforts in history, no trace of the MH370 flight carrying 239 people was found, apart from a few small pieces of wreckage. More than a decade later, efforts to locate the missing Malaysian plane have been reignited. Ocean Infinity, the company at the helm of this mission, is set to resume its search operations by the end of this month, in a bid to unravel the mystery of the lost aircraft.

As reported by the BBC, Ocean Infinity, a US-based ocean exploration company, is set to resume its efforts to unravel the great mystery by the end of this month. The company had previously conducted search operations for the missing plane, but to no avail.

The fate of the 239 individuals aboard the Boeing 777 MH370 flight remains shrouded in uncertainty. The aircraft severed its connection with air traffic control merely an hour after takeoff and was found to have deviated from its planned course on radar.

In the investigation concerning the missing plane, it was concluded that the pilot had intentionally strayed off course, however, the precise reason behind this action couldn't be ascertained. The discovery of the aircraft's wreckage is not only crucial for the families of the passengers on board, but also in determining the exact cause of the crash.
